ORLANDO BREAKS TOURISM RECORD WITH 76.7 MILLION VISITORS IN 2025
Orlando continues to strengthen its position as the most visited destination in the United States, reaching a historic tourism milestone.
Orlando welcomed a record-breaking 76.7 million visitors in 2025, according to Visit Orlando. The number represents a 1.8% increase compared to 2024 and marks the highest visitation total ever recorded by the destination.
The result reinforces Orlando’s global appeal as a leading hub for tourism, entertainment, conventions, family travel, gastronomy and major attractions. The city remains one of the strongest tourism engines in Florida and continues to attract both domestic and international travelers.
Domestic travel played a major role in the record performance, while international visitation also remained an important part of the city’s tourism economy. Orlando’s hospitality sector, restaurants, theme parks, shopping centers and convention industry benefit directly from this continuous flow of visitors.
The Orange County Convention Center also posted strong results in 2025, hosting major events and helping drive business travel to the region. This combination of leisure and corporate tourism keeps Orlando among the most competitive destinations in the country.
Tourism leaders say the city’s constant investment in new experiences is one of the reasons Orlando continues to stand out. With new attractions, hotels, restaurants and entertainment options planned for 2026, the destination is expected to remain a top choice for travelers from around the world.
For local businesses, the record number of visitors represents more than tourism growth. It means jobs, economic activity and new opportunities across Central Florida.
